Directors & Board
An all-aboriginal board made up of political leaders representing the participating First Nations governs the FNFA. The regulatory framework sets out the governing structure ensuring democratic representation based on participation. The FNFA Directors are elected by the borrowing members of the participating First Nation representatives. The Directors then appoint the Officers. Membership is open to any First Nation; however, voting is restricted to borrowing members. The Board of Directors exercise the executive and administrative powers and duties of the FNFA.
